I have followed the pinned thread about the firmware update and it seems like none of the staff here have acknowledged the apparent major problems with it or offered help of any kind.
This makes me very hesitant regarding this product line. Is this typical from FitBit as a company?

The pinned thread about the firmware update is being monitored constantly . The feedback left there is collected and our team works based on the info shared there to improve and correct the issues described there.
If you have a specific question you are always welcome to post it on a new thread so that the Community can assist you with it. Just to keep the Community in order, we ask to place it on the correct board.

This question seems as pressing as ever now that the firmware update topic was locked and it has been declared that most people aren’t having problems.
what is the point of these forums if you won’t actually engage with widespread product malfunctions?
