Why does my Versa 4 record steps while driving?

I've noticed that my Versa 4 records many steps while I'm driving. I drive a garbage truck (bumpy ride), so by the end of the day I have accumulated over 10K steps sitting on my butt. I know I can go  in and log an "exercise" and that basically erases those steps, but is there any easier way? Thanks in advance!

Hi @wmartin - there is no easy solution because if you start a driving exercise the functionality of the watch display is limited.

Probably the easiest is just to ignore steps as you are mostly sitting so aren't that informative and calories may be off too.
