Why the battery on Fitbit devices can't be replaceable?

Does anyone besides me wish that Versa or Sense watches had replaceable batteries?  My Versa 3 died after just 16 months, hence was out of warranty.  Fitbit did offer a credit towards another device.  But, why would I purchase another Versa watch that will end up dying after little more than a year.  

 

I would definitely buy a Versa 4 if it had a replaceable battery.  Or, if I knew it would last for a few years.  I just do not want to buy a new device in less than two year's time, every time.

Hi @Winninh - none of the new watches are repairable or can have the battery replaced.

The Versa 3 is possibly better than the 4 and what appeared on your 3 as a battery problem might actually be / have been caused by another issue, such as water getting in.
