Will my data remain if I change Versa 3 to Versa 4?

ANSWERED

I just purchased a Versa 4. I’ve had a Versa 3 for several years. I also have premium. Will all my data and my premium subscription still be in the app on the new device as I will be deleting the  3.

@Honee When you add a new Fitbit device, your data will still be in the app. All your data is saved to your account and it's not affected when you change devices.

Hi @Honee. A warm welcome to the forums.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Versa 4.

When you remove a Fitbit device from your account, any data you haven't synced is deleted. For more information about syncing, go to How do Fitbit devices sync their data?

If you're giving your Fitbit device to someone else, erase your data before removing the device from your account. For instructions, go to How do I erase my Fitbit device?

Thanks for helping @alexthecat

I replaced my Versa 3 with a Versa 4 after syncing my data and it is no longer in the fitbit app.

Also, I moved my account to Google and cannot find the monthly report that was available in fitbit. I get daily data for each category.

Please, try to perform the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Check if the issue is still happening.

@Honee I just got Versa 4 as well. I thought I’d need to unpair my Versa 2 but I didn’t need to. Here’s what I did:

1. Changed login to signing in w/Google

2. Sync’d Versa 2 one last time

3. Did Versa 4 setup

It all transfers.  I've got 17 Fitbits and 4 Pixel Watches.  Every time I upgrade my devices, it always transfers, along with the subscription.
