When my original versa turned 5 and stopped updating/working I decided to go with the latest and greatest thing.  I didn't need the ECG so I went with the Versa 4.  I sould have done my homework and realized that a lot of the things I used regularly were not supported, like the very basic and very important task of tracking water consumption from the the device.  I cannot understand why that is disabled.   The other app I used regularly was the agenda.  The calendar will push notifications based on the 'reminders' that are set in the calendar, but I miss being able to see all of my appointments for a day at a glance.  I setup the Alexa assistant, she has access to my calendar so I guess as a work around I can ask her what my upcomming appointments are, and try to find an alexa water tracking app.  but it's very disappointing that I have to try and find workarounds for lost functionality.  I hope there is future consideration to the water tracking via the device.  I can make do without the agenda, or the music.  but would really liked being able to just add water on the go.

To say the least, Google is making it clear that for anything other than the basics fitness tracker duties, they want you to buy the Pixel Watch, and have ruined the Sense 2 and Versa 4.  I was given the "upgrade" to a Versa 4 (from old Versa 2) as a Christmas gift, and it feels like a serious downgrade.

I'd even be OK if they were just treading water and not adding things new, but to strip out the apps, and the community features is simply baffling.  These were what built the dedicated user base that Google acquired, and they are completely squandering it.   And apparently, they don't care. They got the Fitbit technology and software they wanted, and seemingly couldn't care less of everyone else walks away.

I just came on here after a couple of months of having to put my Versa 4 to bed to see if they upgraded the watch but, from what i'm seeing it looks like I'll have to continue to use my Versa 2.  The Versa 4 is the biggest rip off going right now on smart watches.  Anyone else who sees this post and is considering Versa 4 my suggestion is don't waste your time.  This watch has one issue after another and it seems the developers have no clue in how to fix them.  SMH 😡
