phone only shows kid devices

I got my daughter the Versa 4 for her 13th bday and she cannot pair it to her phone (Google pixel 8), it just shows kid devices.

Hello @Parentof13yo and welcome to the Community.  Do you use Google Family Link?  Google Family link makes your daughter's account a supervised account.  Users need an unsupervised Google account to get access to all devices.  It is my understanding that you need to remove your daughter from Family Link.  Other parents say it takes a day for you to get access to the 'adult' devices.  They also say that if you wait a day or two after the setup, you can add her back to Family Link.
