poor customer service

I bought versa4 it was defective. I contacted fitbit & they sent a replacement. It won't "swipe" I contacted fitbit & they won't replace it until I send it back. They are welcome to have it back, but why should a customer have to wait for the mail service to get a replacement? They have been paid & I don't have a working fitbit. NOT impressed.

Same issue.  Received Versa 2 as a gift from my kids and is basically nonfunctional in less than 18 months.   Will be moving to a new exercise watch as fitbit won't backup a product for more than a year that doesn't work.  Complete BS.  Offered me a "35%" discount and in the chat with a cust serv rep they basically said we wish we could give a replacement at no charge but the system won't allow them to do that.   We have (or soon had) 4 Versa's in our family but this kind of commitment is subpar.
