"Issue with Notifications on Fitbit Versa 4 - Not Receiving Text Alerts"

I've been loving my Fitbit Versa 4 so far, but recently I've facing issue on notifications. It seems like I'm not receiving text message alerts on my Versa 4. I've double-checked all the settings on both my phone and my Versa 4 to make sure notifications are enabled. All my other notifications, like calls and app alerts, are coming through just fine. It's just the text messages that seem to be affected.

Hi @Ruby-Grace , @LSSpin  - have you done the following recently

Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on.

Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync.

Guy, I just received my Versa 4 to replace my Versa 2.  I went through the set-up on Tuesday but I not receiving any notifications.  I see from this post that I need turn my Versa 2 off.  Not sure how to do that.  It does seem that the Versa 2 is still receiving notifications, but the reason I bought the Versa 4 was because my Versa 2 was no longer working to swipe up or down or left or right and I could only see the main, clock screen.

Thanks,

David

Hi @DKJAX - what you can do is remove the Versa 2 Bluetooth from the phone and remove it from the Fitbit app too [otherwise you can't install the Versa 4] then do the installation. You will need to setup Notifications as you had with the Versa 2 so take a few screenshots first.

@LSSpin- just in case you haven't, pull down on the watch face and turn off all the icons.

In the Fitbit App , click profile photo, device photo and Notifications AND inside App notifications - some troubleshooting may have reset them.

@Ruby-Grace- can you also check.
