versa 4 too many floors

Just in the last week or so my Versa 4 started counting crazy floor total - 100 to 150 a day.  I came into chat and was told to do an update.  I did that and the problem still continued.  Came back into chat and they said I am out of warranty.  (by days.......) 

A higher level is support is supposed to email me - but my concern is that they just will say you are too late.  

I asked are they aware of the issue/ would any updates be coming to address. But it doesn't sound like they have anything in the pipeline.  Although reading through all these posts it feels like this is a known issue.  

Just frustrated $200 device and it is not working at the 12 month mark?  I am posting here in case anyone reading this has any tips or tricks.

Hi @oeschmid - if you contacted them before the warranty expired you can insist on a replacement.

However floors don't affect other measurements and a replacement procedure can take a while when you can be without a watch, so may not be worth it.

If it is outside warranty it's certainly not worth solving.

Still no email from the higher level support and still counting 100+ floors a day.  : (

thank you - i have a feeling I am just going to have to live with a broken watch.  I never heard back from "next level support" and like you said I am 2 weeks out of warranty.  Just frustrating that it seems like a known issue and nothing can be done - a bug fix? an update?  or a replacement watch?
