Hi, I'd like to minimize radiation at the price of syncing with phone only once a day manually. Can I just turn-off the Bluetooth on my watch so it won't emit any BT signals? not asking to close the phone BT and prevents syncs rather completely closing the BT signals on the watch level so it won't even try to broadcast BT signals and find connections

I was looking for the same thing. Surely Fitbit can implement this. Hopefully they are reading this and can add it to a future update. I want to use the watch to track my sleep but don't wage that radiation on all night. Especially next to my head.

I used to love my fitbit charge but quit wearing it because I can't turn off the bluetooth. I won't buy another fitbit until they fix it. Too bad because I would love to upgrade to the versa. You might want to look into the Samsung Gear 3. It allows you to turn off bluetooth. I bought my husband the Samsung and I will probably end up going with that one for me too.

There are a number of feature suggestions for this. This one seems quite popular if you'd like to add your vote: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Ability-to-disable-Bluetooth-in-restricted-areas...
Note the comment from fitbit though that don't currently have any plans to make such a change.

There is another thread HERE that links to another user that has mentioned that he will write an app that may turn the versa in to a low power mode. Aiming to turn off certain features, bluetooth and HR etc
Head over there and cast your suggestions and help boost the thread by voting it up
