LG V30 compatibility

I have the Fitbit versa and I'm very disappointed. It was working when I first bought I received all my notifications and not since it did an update on Saturday it's not working. I get told Today that it's not compatible with my phone. Why sell a product and it not work with all phones. When is this going to work? Is it ever going to work?

Hmm I also have the LG V30 and I have no issues with notifications on the latest software. I don't know if it makes a difference but I have the "always connected" and "keep alive widget" settings enabled.

I agree it's annoying that "device not compatible" seems to be Fitbit's default excuse when issues come up since most of their officially-supported devices are outdated models. It's like they expect their customers to be using the newest smartwatch on 4-year-old phones.

notification still doesn't work. It was working and now it's not. Did your

Hello everyone!

I hope you are doing fine. Regarding your inquiry about the phone's compatibility, Fitbit is compatible with more than 200 of the most popular Android, iOS and Windows mobile devices.

The full list of compatible devices with confirmed compatibility can be found here. If a device isn’t listed it doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch. We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit App, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models.

A majority of Android phones running version 4.4 or higher will work with our products, however we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility.

Catch you later. Robot Happy

Just an update from me - I ended up getting a second LG V30 because I broke my first one. I transferred all my app data, so the Versa was already set up on my new phone without me having to go through the connection steps. I think this caused some issues because it wasn't syncing properly and I wasn't getting notifications. I decided to remove the Versa from my account and go through a brand new setup. During setup, I had trouble getting the phone to find the Versa, but fixed this by manually removing all other Bluetooth devices that were connected to my phone (I re-added them after Versa finished setting up).

Now I have no issues syncing and getting notifications on my new V30 (running Oreo 8.0.0). Once in awhile, I have to sync it manually but not a huge annoyance. It might be because I also have an Alta HR on my account so sometimes the app takes time to sync both.

I don't doubt that other V30 users have legitimate issues syncing and I'm wondering what the difference between my V30s and other users are. Could be Bluetooth settings, regional differences in hardware, etc.

Hello , ive got it to work now. I did a reset to factory on the Versa and removed the pair in bluetooth at the LG V30. Reinstalled the fitbit app at the phone, after a bit of struggle and time got it to be installed correctly again followed the instruction by the book. Its now so far working again. So dont give up you folks, try what i did. And the money you spend on Versa is not waisted. I'm happy again

I have a Fitbit versa and an LG V30.  I upgraded my phone from the LG V20 and upgraded my Fitbit from the Fitbit charge 2 to the Versa. I had no issues with the old phone and Fitbit, the both synced and I received all notifications including call notifications.

Now after my upgrade I receive the majority of notifications but no telephone call notifications. Also at time there are issues as the phone does not seen to recognize my Versa. I love both my phone and Versa just a sham they are not totally compatible.

Its sad as I thought that the way to go was to upgrade.

I recently got an LGV30, and I'm not even able to pair my Fitbit Blaze with the device! Phone literally can't detect the tracker.
