So you've gone into the settings on the Versa->Bluetooth connection->New device ? If you've done all that, try a restart.

I'd recommend a factory reset( but try a restart first ) if your Versa/Ionic isn't pairing to the Airpods.

I was i able to connect my AirPods to my fitbit versa. I had to remove my AirPods from my iPhone X Bluetooth and i walked into another room. Then went to settings and Bluetooth and touch add audio device and held my AirPods close to my fitbit. My AirPods showed a white light and paired up my AirPods and fitbit versa together.

Yes, BT interference often messes up the pairing process of pairing the watch to the phone and the watch to another BT device.

It worked for me when I held down the button on the back of my Airpods until they were recognized on my Versa.  Then they paired perfectly

I was able to do mine.  Here's what I did.

1.  Removed them from my iPhone

2.  Took my Airpods (in their container) to another room.

3.  While in the Bluetooth mode on my Versa I pushed in and held down the button on the back of my Airpods container.

4.  It then recognized them on the watch and connected.

@Tylstin did it connect first time for you? I am having the same problem, have tried all your steps above but the Versa recognises the Airpods but will not connect. I was wondering if this was the same with you but after a few attempts connected. This is extremely frustrating.

It found them right away. Once I selected them on my Versa it completed the
pairing. But I have noticed that every time I turn on my music I have to
select to use my AirPods.

Yes it connected for me. I had to turn off my Bluetooth on my phone and then I went into another room away from my phone and held my AirPods open to my versa went to my settings to Bluetooth settings and started pair my AirPods to my versa it will show white color as it pairing then touch my AirPods on the versa and it will pair. Once it done the when you ready to listen to your music go to you Bluetooth and your versa and touch your AirPods and it will start working. Hope this helps.
