Hi.
I was wondering if its possible to get the access token from the FitBit app (Android) instead of requesting it via web. I'm developing an app that uses the FitBit data, and its very unlikely that the users does not have the FitBit app installed.
Can I "ask" the FitBit app to get me an access token?
Hope it makes a little sense

You'd still need to use the web API to get data using the access token, so getting the token from the app wouldn't help you much.

@kaplarh No, you'll have to get an access token using the Fitbit Web API.
