Hello Fitbit Developer Community,
I'm developing an Android application that aims to leverage the Fitbit API to gather extensive health metrics from users' Fitbit devices. My goal is to access data related to EDA.
I have successfully implemented the OAuth2 process and have been able to gather standard metrics using the normal scopes mentioned in the Fitbit API documentation. However, when I try to add scopes for the specific health metrics I mentioned, I am met with "invalid_scope" error messages.
From my understanding, access to these health metrics requires special permissions. However, I have been unable to find specific information on how to obtain these permissions in the Fitbit API documentation.
I would appreciate it if anyone can guide me through the process of obtaining these permissions, or direct me to the specific documentation that outlines this process.
Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance!

Hi @asu101a
Fitbit does not have a public or private API for accessing EDA data. Where did you discover this information was available through special permissions?

Well, I learned it here. So, is the story that Google licensed Empatica's technology and you need an Empatica license get the cEDA data? Just, what's the story? cEDA collection is my whole reason for considering the FitBit Sense 2. Can you at least confirm I can get the historical data through Google Data Transfer?
