Announcement: Friends API ver. 1.1 is now available!

The Friends APIs are used to retrieve a user's friends and leaderboard information.  A new version of these endpoints, version 1.1, has been released.  The changes you will see are

 

  • The version number in the endpoint URLs are updated to 1.1
  • Dropped the .json extension from "Invite Friends" and "Respond to Friend Invitation" endpoints
  • Streamlined the user profile information within the friend & leaderboard endpoints
  • Changed the response formats to follow this spec: https://jsonapi.org/

The Friends API ver. 1.1 will be supported going forward.  Please review the Friends API ver. 1.1 documentation for details.  We will deprecate Friends API ver. 1.0 within 60 days.
