Battery indicator in Fitbit app

I was just wondering why the battery indicator is only green for 80-100% and orange for below that amount?  It seems like below 50% would be orange and above green.  
Also, I’d like to know why 1) by the Fitbit can’t be charged to 100%

2) you lose a large percentage of charge when you take off the charger from when it’s saying on the charger.
