Charge HR tracker workouts

Hi,

When a user logs an activity by pressing the start button and stop button on the Charge HR device I don't see this activity returned from https://api.fitbit.com/1/user/activities/date/{1}.json in the activity section like events tracked via the fitbit app e.g.

{"activityId":52001,"activityParentId":52001,"activityParentName":"Yoga","calories":162,"description":"","duration":1800000,"hasStartTime":true,"isFavorite":false,"lastModified":"2015-02-05T10:30:40.000Z"
,"logId":xxxxxxx,"name":"Yoga","startDate":"2015-02-05","startTime":"09:00"}

Is it possible to pull the activitys logged via the Charge HR device?

Thanks

James

We're also having issues with this - any information from FitBit?

Hi James,

The activities logged from our Charge, Charge HR, and Surge devices are not currently available on the api.

Currently, the Get Activities endpoint only returns manually logged activities that override tracker data. We will be adding activity logs that effectively annotate tracker data to the API by end of Q4.

Edit: updated ETA

Does the tracker data exist on a different API?

Hi Jeremiah,

Just wondering if the tracker data has been added to the API yet?

Thanks

The data from the device is currently available. See the Get Time Series and Get Intraday Time Series documentation. The activity/exercise logs (start/stop time, activity type, etc) created on the device are not yet available in a list form. The logs themselves do exist if you know the id (Get Activity Log), such as looking at the URL in the Fitbit web app. (This will be improved. It's just not released yet.)

Help? While using my Charge HR in workout mode, in conjunction with the Fitbit mobile track feature for iOS, upon completing a gps tracked workout, I continue to get no imported HR or calorie burn data for that workout in my end of workout summary listed in the exercise summary view. All other stats are there, including the map. But under the heart rate and calories burned sections, they are blank, and they say "not enough data available". I have not had this problem until I started using my Charge HR in workout mode along with the gps mobile track features together, at the same time. Should I not be doing this? Are these errors because of something I am doing wrong? Thank you for your help.

Hi Jeremiah,

You mentioned that work outs logged via the ChargeHR start/stop button would be added to the API by the end of Q2 can you confirm is this still the case?
