Collecting Heart Rate Variability data throughout the day

Hello, I would like to add the capability of collecting HRV data to my Android application throughout the day from the Fitbit app/watch using the Web API. Is it possible to collect HRV data during the day at a specific increment of every hour or half hour or is HRV only collected during sleep? The goal of collecting this data is to measure stress so it is important to have measurements during the day. Thank you.

Hi @student2001 

 

HRV data is only available during sleep.  Through Intraday support, you can receive HRV data every 5 minutes.  See https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/intraday/get-hrv-intraday-by-date/.
