Determining values that are outliers/equipment error for FitBit data

Hello FitBit Developers!

I am a researcher using the FitBit Charge 5 to measure sleep and other data for children with autism. My team is working to determine how to calculate/eliminate outliers and/or equipment error in the datasets provided by FitBit. Can anyone at FitBit or in the community provide a method for us to eliminate the erroneous data? We appreciate any insight from this group.

Can you give me an example of outliers you are receiving with the Charge 5 device?
