Does Fitbit offer any API/SDK to get health data directly

I am trying to develop my own app (in Android) to collect health data from Fifbit Charge 2 to my app DIRECTLY through Bluetooth.
I would like to know if there is API/SDK for the above-mentioned integration?

Does it means Fitbit only provides Web API, i.e. to get the data from their Cloud through API?
