Hello,
We would like to request support for METs (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) data in the Google Health API.
In the current Fitbit Web API, METs data has been an essential data type for our application, allowing us to quantitatively assess physical activity intensity for our users. This data is widely referenced in established health guidelines (such as those from the WHO and ACSM) and is a cornerstone of evidence-based health management features.
After reviewing the current Google Health API data type documentation, we were unable to find a direct equivalent to the METs endpoint. We would greatly appreciate it if METs could be included in the official roadmap for the Google Health API.
Continuing to provide this data type would help ensure that developers and their end-users experience no disruption during the migration.
Thank you for considering this request.
