Fitbit Alta web API support

ANSWERED

Hi,

I have integrated the Web API in my iOS app to allow users to connect to Fitbit and show their steps in the app. I have a user that can't see their steps in my app using an Alta device. Are the Alta devices supported? The Ace 2 is not supported for example. Is there any webpage where I can see what devices are supported?

Thanks.

Hi @pepejeria

All Fitbit devices, except for the Ace family, will have their data available through the Web APIs.   To troubleshoot this problem, try to

  1. Execute one of the activity endpoints outside of your application to determine if the data is available
  2. Follow the steps in this guide to verify the user id you have matches the user's Fitbit account, https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/troubleshooting-guide/common-solutions/#Data-Synchoni....
