Fitbit Servers for European Users

Hi - When registering a device with an account in the US, the Fitbit app shows the following notice:

Does this same disclaimer appear for users registering within Europe? Are the servers supporting European customers also in the United States? If not, where are they located? Thanks.

The notice appears for European users.  To deliver our services, we operate internationally with offices and partners around the world. We have offices across Europe, North America, and Asia, and we partner with retailers, fulfillment services, and others to sell Fitbit devices and provide our services. In operating our business, we may transfer and store information in the United States and other countries where we operate.

We rely on various legal bases to transfer information from the European Economic Area, including the EU-US Privacy Shield framework, approved by the European Commission. Hi there. I noticed this is from 2018 and I cannot find a later update. Can I ask if this is still the case? Is the data still transferred and stored in the US?
