Fitbit TLS certificate to be updated on Monday, August 18, 2014

Fitbit will update its TLS ("SSL") certificate on Monday, August 18, 2014. This should not require any action on your part. As a reminder, pinning Fitbit's TLS certificate is not recommended or supported.

 

The current certificate is issued by GoDaddy. The new certificate is issued by Comodo. You can test connections to https://testcert.fitbit.com/ to verify that your applications and servers can trust the new certificate.
