Hi all,
I've read that a number of habits can increase your resting metabolic rate and I'm aware that fitbit accounts for this increase after a high intesity workout. However, I would like to know if fitbit also takes into account any additional calories that might be burned from eating smaller meals more frequently throughout the day.
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Fitbit uses the standard MD Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR and does not take into account any effects of eating patterns. More information is at https://dev.fitbit.com/docs/activity/#get-activity-intraday-time-series
