The object for nutritionalValues is not present in the food items being returned on the /foods/lod/date/YYYY-MM-DD.json responses. They should be there based on the API documentation.
Is there some way to get this information to return on a per item basis?

Due to licensing restrictions, nutritional values are not available for all logged food items.
Best Answer@bp_strap I can't find it in the current documentation, but the old documentation had a note that nutritional values for individual items were only available/reported for custom/private foods. (Not for public foods.)
This was likely done as part of their licensing agreement for the food database, so that someone can't just extract all the information via the API and not pay for the database themselves.
