When I make a GET request to https://api.fitbit.com/1/activities.json to get a list of all the activity types. There are 500+ different kinds of activities and sub activities, for instance "Pushing or pulling stroller with child or walking with children"
As a user, when I'm logging my activities, I never see these options. If I type in Pushing or pulling stroller with child or walking with children, it prompts me to create a custom type or select walking, so I don't understand where all these different types come from in the request above.
When I'm getting activities for a certain date for a user, eg GET user/abc123/activities/date/09-18-2018.json, I get their activity with a field/key of ActivityParentName: "Walking"
Where can I get a list of the ParentNames like I see above? The ActivityType endpoints above returns to me way more types that I'll ever need or even see. I need some high level types that I can map to: Bicycling, Walking, Running...etc
The documentation on Activity Types is very sparse
