Hi,
We want to reward users for a loyalty mobile app with points for their FitBit runs, so we rely on VeryActiveMinutes that are incoming from the tracker via the API.
Is there a more detailed explanation on how veryActiveMinutes is actually measured by Fitbit trackers?
Moreover, if there is a significant difference between how different models register veryActiveMinutes, it would be really helpful to learn about them.
Kind regards,
Alexandru

Fitbit's active minutes goal is a sum of veryActiveMinutes and fairlyActiveMinutes values in the API. The level is determined by multiple factors for how vigorously active a person is. More information is here, but Fitbit does not disclose the exact methodology between the two levels.
