Dear Fitbit Developer Community,
We’re making some important upgrades to the Fitbit APIs so that they remain stable and scalable for everyone. These updates include the log ids, stricter syntax enforcement and deprecating the Sleep v1 endpoints. To ensure your applications continue to work seamlessly, please note and take action regarding these changes, some of which have already started to roll out and others will be rolled out over the rest of 2025. We've detailed all of the changes in our recent blog article.
Best,
The Google Fitbit Team

If you have applications built on older API endpoints they may or degrade when the deprecation completes. It's important to migrate to the new version of the endpoint.Stricter syntax enforcement means Anitaku that casual it was working before" requests could now fail; you may need to review your API calls.

The deprecation of older endpoints (like Sleep v1) follows a broader pattern for Fitbit: in 2024 they shut down the web-dashboard in favor of the mobile app which disappointed many users who preferred viewing data on a large screen or logging food/activities via browser.
