Hi there,
I am using the Fitbit API to retrieve a list of the users latest activities, followed by an option to retrieve a TCX file and analyse the detail for a specific activity.
This works fine for running, but one of my users told me that she was unable to see any data when retrieving a swim using her new Fitbit Ionic. I looked at the TCX, and it was a real bare-bones file. It had the start time for the activity, the name of the watch, and that was about it. Certainly nothing useful, like duration of swim, lap times, cadence etc.
Can you please advise whether it's possible to retrieve swim data in this way? Is there a toggle I'm missing somewhere? Or a brain cell? 🙂
Thanks,
Ian

If you can provide me (private message is fine) with the Fitbit User ID for where the swim data was recorded, I can see if there is a way to retrieve the details.
