I found that when a user manually adds activities to the Fitbit app (I tested on iOS), the new activity (e.g., football) is registered in the Fitbit app. In the Fitbit API (e.g., api.fitbit.com/1/user/-/activities/date/<date>.json), the activity also appears in the list of activities for that day. However, the lightlyActiveMinutes, fairlyActiveMinutes, and veryActiveMinutes values are not calculated—they return 0.
If I update any detail of that activity (such as distance, time, or steps), then the minutes mentioned above are updated with the correct values.
I need your support in resolving this bug.

Hi @kdinh1903
Thank you for reaching out!
I was not able to replicate the issue on my Android device. I have forwarded this to our internal team to test on iOS and determine the next steps. I will provide an update as soon as I hear back from them.

Hi @kdinh1903
Yes, that'd be helpful if you can share with us.
Could you also let us know if the football exercise is recorded on top of steps that have already been recorded? Any extra details will help us replicate your scenario exactly. Thanks!

Hi @kdinh1903
Thanks for waiting.
Our team has confirmed that the reason you're not getting any activeMinutes data is because steps and heart rate data are needed to calculate this.

Hi @MariaFitbit @DorisFitbit,
If the reason is the need for steps and heart rate data. After I edit the activity, why is the data shown? If I don't have heart rate or step, I expect that nothing is calculated.
Thanks.
