I haven't used my fitbit account for almost 2 years, and I had a fitbit app registered to run so that anyone with a charge2 could pick up my app and then allow their fitbit account data (steps) to be accessed by the app via the fitbit api.
Fast forward to now; I can't access my app in the Gallery App Manager, and it also is claiming I need to have a Fitbit watch attached to my account in order to be able to accept the terms of service??
I'm confused!
Has the developer team at fitbit given consumers no choice but to have to buy a fitbit versa or fitbit Ionic in order to be able to have their data used in a third-party app now? How does this fly in the face of the FTC and the "Tying the sale of two products" ruling?
(edit): I'm not a lawyer and not here to argue legal rules -- I just know that most companies can't force customers to be locked into buying only their accessory products, through the purchase of a primary device, by disabling the primary device if off-brand accessory products are used with the primary device.

If your app was for devices like charge2, it must have been using the Web API only. GAM is for the other APIs. You may find your app here.

Thank you, @Gondwana!
Hi @DWayda, the Device SDK's Gallery App Manager is for applications built on the smart watches (Ionic and Versa family). If you built an application for the Charge 2, then you would be using the Web APIs, as @Gondwana mentioned. If you have problems access your Charge 2 application at https://dev.fitbit.com/apps, please let us know.
