Manual activities ignored by challenges

Hi,

 

I'm posting a new activity using the user activity endpoint https://api.fitbit.com/1/user/-/activities.json. The activity is succesfully added and also visible on my watch and fitbit app but the steps taken are not added to my current workweek hustle challenge. Are manual posted activities ignored by challenges?

That's correct. Only steps directly tracked by a fitbit count towards challenges. Manually entered steps and steps from 3rd party apps do not count.
