OAuth2 SFSafariViewController with Google/Facebook gets stuck on blank page

We attempted to use SFSafariViewController within our iOS app to authenticate integration with Fitbit. Login with email and password works flawlessly, but if I try and login with either Facebook or Google the process gets stuck at a white page within SFSafariViewController. This happens right after you enter your Facebook or Google credentials. Moving the authentication from SFSafariViewController to the Safari app itself has resolved the issue.

 

Is this a known issue or limitation? Are there any workarounds or things we might be doing incorrectly?
