Responding to Text Proof of Concept

Hey all,

I was recently thinking of a way to respond to texts from the FitBit Blaze by using the API and the alarms.

Since you can have up to 8 alarms, each alarm can represent one bit - being either on or off. Since the API allows you to retrieve this boolean from the FitBit, it is possible that the first 4 alarms represent different messages (0001 = "I love you"; 0010 = "I can't talk right now"; etc.) and the last 4 alarms can represent people who you talk to regularly (0001 = Mom; 0010 = Dad; etc.)

Would it be possible to have a program that - every 10 minutes - checks the alarms of your FitBit and then texts that person (through emailing their phonenumber@txt.att.net or something similar) the message you want to send?

This is more for the fun of figuring out how to respond to texts than anything else. Thanks!
