SSLHandshakeException: using AWS Gateway API as a subscriber

I'm building serverless API using Amazon Web Services API Gateway and want to use it for Fitbit subscriptions.

Notifications fails with the SSLHandshakeException although I believe TLS is used by AWS. Here is the link to my endpoint: https://565lxx0xd7.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/ft

 

I'd appreciate any help,
