Scripts for downloading daily data to Google Sheets

I used to be able to download my Fitbit data to a Google Sheet using the following script:

http://quantifiedself.com/2013/02/how-to-download-fitbit-data-using-google-spreadsheets/

However, it no longer works. I have been trying the following, newer script (based on the previous one):

https://github.com/slarson/Fitbit-for-Google-App-Script

but weren’t able to get it to work either.

Has anyone been able to get either script to work? If not, is anyone aware of another script that would do the same, ie. download daily data to a Google Sheet?

@Dominique. I will be interested if you find something.

I remember you pointing me to the quantified self before, but I was never able to get it to work.  I think google sheets had already been updated by the time I tried to follow the directions on that site.  I am also part of a group (CiK) that used to have a group google sheet that synced steps, but the syncing broke months ago and the current admins have been unable to fix it so they just started relying on the group leaderboard.    My SuKo group uses a group spreadsheet, but everyone has to enter their numbers manually.

I do have my own google spreadsheet of some of my fibit data (steps, floors, very active minutes, and the fat percentage and weight that are sycned to fitbit from my Withings scale), but I populate that by doing 30-day data exports to csv files every few months and then cutting and pasting.

I have the VERY SAME problem. I am interested to learn if you find a solution. I will share myself if I find one. It is amazing that the Quantified Self community did not yet post a solution to this

Hi

I use IFTTT (If This Then That) https://ifttt.com/discover

It can get data out from fitbit and add rows to a spreadsheet on drive.google

It would be so much better to design my own script, but I don´t know how

So IFTTT have to work so far.
