Hi @ydk12

It appears that calories BMR, calories out and sedentary minutes are recorded for the current day without syncing to represent the number of calories you have burned up until the current time.  For example, I haven't worn my Fitbit today and pulled my daily summary at 10:05 am.   The response I received is

  "summary": {
    "caloriesOut": 862,
    "activityCalories": 0,
    "caloriesBMR": 775,
    "activeScore": -1,
    "steps": 0,
    "sedentaryMinutes": 605,
    "lightlyActiveMinutes": 0,
    "fairlyActiveMinutes": 0,
    "veryActiveMinutes": 0,

sedentaryMinutes shows 605 which is 10 hours and 5 minutes or 10:05am.   Since I haven't worn my Fitbit today, sedentaryMinutes is being recorded since no activity is being recorded making this value correct.  The calories burned and calories BMR is how many calories I would have burned based on profile biometric data.   Once you sync your device and it shows activity, the active minutes and calories data should adjust.
