Hi there,
I have an app that collects a user's daily activity using the:
/1/user/[user-id]/activities/[resource-path]/date/[start-date]/[end-date].jsonAnd randomly, for some users, the data returned for some days are showing as 0s. Like below:
| date | steps |
| oct17 | 139 |
| oct18 | 0 |
| oct19 | 139 |
| oct20 | 0 |
| oct21 | 268 |
| oct22 | 12597 |
also with active minutes:
| date | sed | lightly | fairly | very |
| oct17 | 1434 | 6 | 0 | 0 |
| oct18 | 1440 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| oct19 | 1440 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| oct20 | 1440 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| oct21 | 1426 | 14 | 0 | 0 |
| oct22 | 1188 | 217 | 17 | 18 |
Through my own testing, I did notice that the Fitbit watch sometimes disconnects from my phone and if I don't manually sync my watch, I get no data. But I have confirmed with the users that their watches are synced properly with the Fitbit app and they can see data on the Fitbit app for those days.
Do you know why I might be getting 0s through the API? Also, during testing, I have not once experienced this issue with my own data.
Any help or guidance is much appreciated. Thank you!
