Subscription API down?

Hi Team,

We are using the fitbit api to collect user data in our system. But since the last 3 days there has not been any updates from fitbit for any of the users due to which we are losing the data synchronisation between their portal and our application. I saw on the fitbit support twitter page that there is some issue with the API. Can you provide any updates on this?

I'm sorry to hear about the Subscriptions API not providing your application with notifications. We have been undergoing maintenance throughout the week which may have affected these services.

If you are still not receiving notifications, can you please PM me your Client ID so that I may take a closer look?

I have sent you the client Id as a PM. I checked my developer portal and realised that the subscription API was disabled today, maybe after the maintenance at your end. I have enabled it now and have started receiving the updates. 

I will let you know if the issue persists, its all good for now.

As previously mentioned, the API is up and running now and we are receiving updates for the missed information from the past few days. But we have around 1100 users and 6 days of data to catch up on, till now we have received for around 400 users. The process seems a bit slow than usual, can you provide me any information on the volume of requests we will be receiving till we can get up to date with the missing information?

Hi John,

We actually have the same issues. However, this happens for some users not for all.

We checked on get devices endpoint that device is synced, however we don't see any notifications for some users on our server. We also checked that the subscription id exists and we can pull the data from this user. Do you know if this behavior is connected to maintenance ?
