Using API to Access iPhone Control Center

I'm still really new to the world of API and it's capabilities, but I was glad to hear about open coding after learning that my Fitbit Alta HR can't control my music. It seems so far that my best bet would be something under Python, but I still seem to be coming up empty. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
