What is the extraction period for user's real-world data that can be checked through wep-api?

Hello, I am a researcher trying to extract fitbit data through Fitbit web-api.

Regarding fitbit data, I heard that currently all fitbit data is transferred to the server and stored. We want to track approximately 3 months (150 days) of user activity data to use in our research.

Could you please tell me what period of user activity data is currently extractable via wep-api?

According to the current plan, extracting the data at once after the study is completed seems to be the method that makes both participants and researchers happy.

If our research period is longer than the data retention period, we will try to extract the data several times to ensure complete data extraction. For example, if fitbit's data retention period is 1 month, we plan to humbly request data extraction from participants 2-3 times.

Hi @research123good 

We don't have a retention period that the data is available through the Web API.   You can wait until after your study and query the historical data.
