What is the "shortdata" in the sleep data? What is the criteria of main sleep?

Hi

I retrieved the sleep data using the Fitbit web API(get sleep log by date), but I could not figure out the meaning of short data in the sleep data.
- What is the "short data" and why do we need it?

In the "short data" there is only "wake" level data, and the time in "short data" doesn't match that of the
"data".

- Shouldn't they correspond?

-Also, why do you separate the wake data, when you already have "wake" data in the "data"?

-What is the difference between the "wake" in "data" and "short data"?

-What are the criteria of main sleep?

How do you determine which sleep is the main sleep?

Thank you

Hi @SRLEE

The short data represents the short wake periods a person experiences while sleeping.  These periods will be 3 minutes or less.   Most of your questions will be answered in "Interpreting the Sleep Stage and Short Data".   IsMainSleep is the longest sleep record of the day.
