Zero distance records in TCX

Hello,

I'm constantly getting TCX files having records with 0 distance in between records with correct distance. See a set of sample records in a file that I received below. Any reason for it?

Welcome to the forums!

 

It looks like your GPS signal could have been disrupted or poor signal during these periods, which might explain the sudden 0s between correct values. Also, these 0s are only appearing at a fraction of a second, according to the timestamps you provided, which should not have any major effects on the outcome of the activity. Can you confirm that you've had a strong GPS signal all the way through your exercise?
