accumulated steps not showing up properly on groups

When I go to my activity groups my steps say that I have only 46,000 when I should have 76,000.  My sync is current.

WAs there ever an answer or resolution to this problem? I've experienced this twice in the 5 days I've been using firbit bit and from a grouple perspective it's annoying having the step total that shows up in my group be not onlyu some 3000 less than my actual step total as per my fitbit device, but also less than the group goal.
