data collection from fitbit sense 2

Dear Fitbit Sense 2 support team,

Our research team is planning to purchase fitbit sense 2 to record students' learning processes and I would like to know if there is any method that we can get the recorded physiological data (e.g., EDA, HR/HRV data) of students from fitbit sense 2? Many thanks. Looking forward to your reply.

Best,

Ying

Hello @yque and welcome to the Community.  I moved your post to the Web API forum, a better fit for your question.

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

Dear Laurie,

Thank you for your response. May I know will your colleague help to provide information regarding how to output the physiological data from Fitbit under this page soon?

Best,

Ying

Hi @yque

Thank you for your patience.  Yes, you can get the user's data but you will need to use the Web API.  See documentation.  After the user syncs their device with the Fitbit mobile app, the data is collected by Fitbit and run through our algorithms.  At which time the data is available through the Web API.  You'll need to have the participants consent to share their data with your application to collect their data.  EDA data is not available through the Web API at this time, and I hope we can provide it in the future.

If you need more information about how the Web API works, you can contact the support team directly at https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/help/ to post your specific questions or request a call.
