Missing sleep stage for some sleep interval

We build an app fetch data from Fitbit side. For sleep, we are using API below to fetch sleep data, https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/sleep/get-sleep-log-by-date-range/

However, we notice that sometimes fitbit missing return sleep stage for some interval.

-> Here is a sample:

missing sleep stage for the last interval 05:55:00.000 to 06:45:00.000

We would like to understand, does such sleep data missing sleep stage can be considered invalid and be filtered out? Thanks
