Did you mean:

short wake periods through the sleep API

ANSWERED

hey,

so, I've been downloading my data through the web API for some time now, and I just now noticed that in the fitbit dashboard there are these small pink dots that mark wakening times, but through the API (even while useing a "private use" application that can access the maximum level of sleep details), I don't see them. It's very strange since the API gives me a JSON file containing all the sleep levels and how long did they last - so even the shortest ones should show.

I'm not sure what does it mean-

- does the best sleep detail through the API doesn't have all the information?

- do these small pink dots aren't small periods of wake?

these are the pink dots, for example:

To be clear - I can see the long wake periods in the sleep data.

found the answer today - thought i'd share:

apparently, all the short wakening times are saved under the "short_data" in the sleep json, meaning, all the wake period that last less than 3 minutes.

that's it 🙂
