Did you mean:

tracked sleep vs. manually inputed sleep

Hi Jeremiah,

Is there a way we can tell the difference between sleep data that was tracked by the device and sleep data that was inputted manually?

Let me know

Thanks

If you input sleep manually without wearing the fitbit you will not see any signs of movement (red lines in the graph) and your sleep will look very efficient.

Now there have been times that I forgot to push the button but was wearing my Fitbit and I was able to go back in later and log my sleep. Since I was wearing the unit it was able to interpret my movement as times that I was awake or restless.

If you were wearing your fitbit while sleeping I am not sure there would be any way to know the difference between setting the timer or entering in the sleep manually.

I've even fell asleep on the couch and forgot to put the unit on my wrist. I went in and manually recorded my start and end times and was still able to see some movement... but it was slightly different since it was on my hip as opposed to my wrist.
