When I use my Zip on a fast walk, it tracks it as "active minutes". I would also like to track it as "exercise", so I then manually enter the walk. However, then it removes the active minutes. (I do enter it during the same time period.)
I also run and don't use my Zip during my runs. I then manually log it as exercise and it shows up as both exercise and active minutes.
If I record a walk using the tracking feature, it records it as both exercise and active minutes. (Note: my manually entered walk is for the same time length and distance as the tracked walk, so it shouldn't be an issue of effort -- 41 minutes for 2 miles.)
If I manually enter a walk of 1 mile at 15 minutes, it counts it as exercise and active minutes.
If I manually enter a run of 2 miles at 41 minutes, it counts it as exercise and active minutes.
So why is it when I enter a walk at a pace of about 20:00 manually, it doesn't show up as exercise AND active minutes like it does for a walk of the same paced tracked either via the Zip or GPS tracker? (Or a run of the same pace entered manually.)

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @katiwei. It's great to have you here. This behavior sounds weird. I would recommend setting up your Fitbit Zip as a replacement device by following @Odyssey13's steps. Rest assured, your synced data won't be affected. Additionally, please download the latest Fitbit app version and give it another try. Let me know how it goes.
